Dr Wesley Fielding

(MBBS, FRACGP)

Dr Wesley Fielding is an Australian trained and registered medical doctor. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MMBS) at the University of Western Australia (UWA). After completing his residency training at Fremantle Hospital, Dr Fielding undertook his speciality training in General Practice (FRACGP) with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

Dr Fielding worked as a General Practitioner (GP), primarily in the Mount Pleasant area, for several years. Over time Dr Fielding developed an interest in skin, dermatology and skin cancer medicine, and began working in the field of Cosmetic Medicine and then Skin Cancer Medicine.

Over this time, Dr Fielding undertook further training in skin cancer medicine and dermatology. He obtained his Diploma in Skin Cancer with the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine (now: Skin Cancer College Australasia) and a Diploma in Dermatology through the Australian Institute of Dermatology.

Dr Fielding has over 12 years’ experience working as a skin cancer physician.  Until joining Applecross SKINscreen in 2019, Dr Fielding worked for Molescan as a full-time skin cancer physician in the Como / South Perth area for many years.

Dr Fielding is a Member of the Skin Cancer College Australasiaand keeps up to date with the latest advances in skin cancer medicine through continued education and attending workshops and conferences.

Dr Fielding is passionate about skin cancer and prides himself in providing a personalised and professional skin cancer service using the latest equipment and techniques.

On a personal note, Wesley has an interest in IT, enjoys movies, the occasional bushwalk and evenings with friends with a glass of wine. He has recently re-kindled his passion for ballroom dancing.

Dr Manal Hussain

MBBS (Hons), FRACGP, Dip of Child Health (DCH), Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine

Dr Manal Hussain is a General Practitioner (GP) with an interest in skin cancer medicine. She graduated from the University of Western Australia (UWA) with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, MBBS (Hons) in 2006 and obtained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP) in 2012.

Dr Hussain holds a Professional certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr Hussain is trained at performing a comprehensive skin check with up to date dermoscopy techniques including biopsies and excisions and the use of diathermy. She can also offer non- surgical treatment options (cryotherapy and topical treatments) for pre-malignant skin lesions.

Dr Hussain is fluent in English, Malay and Indonesia (Bahasa)
